The last month has been great, tiring and challenging at work. I've also been on vacation recently to Muskoka Baptist conference Centre, at a Men's conference. There was a massive storm the last night we were there and the staff and students there did a great job under very difficult circumstances. My thanks to all.

FIDE-O has moved on to other topics, such as their dubious facination( strictly to me at this point) with Ultimate fighting. I still don't get it, but I guess I can just accept it as an American cultural facination. We all have our unique facinations( which I'll cop to before someone asks me about hockey).

Truly though they're a great group of brothers in Christ, and while I may not always agree with them I continue to pray for them and their ministry.

On a completely different topic, I just want to say that it has concerned me a fair bit that Christian bloggers have not exactly been a good example, in terms of how we conduct ourselves on the net. In some of the dicussions and debates that have gone on on many of the blogs I've visited, both the commenters and the people running the blogs have been lobbing verbal grenades at each other. The so-called impersonal nature of the internet does nothing to hide such conduct from the eyes of God. Some topics, are by their very nature, likely to get tempers
warm, but as followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, if anyone can disagree agreeably it should be us.
I'm not naming names. None of us are perfect, but let us remember that as brothers and sisters we are answerable to God for how we treat each other. Even if at times we think that some other members of the family have suffered a head injury recently.
May God richly bless you all!
Happy Blogging!!

The UFC is a bit more American, but it is the red-headed stepchild of PrideFighting, which is a VERY popular international fighting organization.
