I love America!
I'm not American, but I remember, with gratitude the sacrifices made by previous generations of Americans, so that my people might live and breath free.

No one who loves freedom, or cares about the global proclamation of the gospel can possibly rejoice at her current troubles. If America goes down, either from the strain of to many committments abroad or a lack of balance at home, freedom may survive in name for a time, but what bears that name will likely bear little resemblance to what it does today.
America can be inconsistent, forgetful, and sometimes too clever for its own good, and its true that there are times when she makes mistakes and her presence in the world becomes something less than an unmixed blessing, but no nation has done more, and still does more for everything we hold dear to our hearts and thank God than America.

To hate and undermine her is to weaken, ( perhaps oneday fatally ) that very shield gives us the security to snipe and laugh at her.

These are difficult times for America, perhaps more difficult than she is likely to admit, which is why that those her know her real worth should cry to God for her.

As Christians we are members of one body and brothers and sisters in one family. She needs our love and our prayers, perhaps now more than ever. As she goes, so go we.
